About

I am a big fan of online dating, and I find dating in general interesting. However, I married  a guy who found me online, so I have left the dating world behind myself. I am still keenly observing the process of coupling and looking for love. As a bridal fashion designer by day, I suppose I’m just a hopeless romantic! On the other hand, I am a realist, so I know you can’t just stumble across the first specimen of the opposite sex and expect it to work – unless of course you’re buying a puppy dog.

On this blog I’m mainly concentrating on online dating, or topics surround online dating, which I think is fascinating on its own right. However, I have to talk about relationships in general in order to make a foundation to the online dating thing. Everything starts with ourselves.

The problem with online dating isn’t as much that people can pretend to be anything or anyone they like, it’s mostly about our own attitude. Online dating requires bravery to bring out what you truly are if you desire real happiness. But it also requires an alert mind to see if someone else is being deceitful. When things go right though, an online date can fill your days with happiness and mutual appreciation and understanding – you just have to know where and how to look.
